He liked to take leadership since his schooling days. He was leader of many student union and also was president of Student Organisation of Panjab University (SOPU) Chandigarh. He did awesome work and so he also won university elections and became president of Students Of India (SOI). SOI is associated with SAD as its particular student organization. Chief of SAD Sukhbir Singh Badal and Vicky was very close and so he selected Vicky as a president of SOI Chandigarh unit. Vicky always worked under Sukhbir Singh Badal and also involved in Youth Akali Dal.
Murder Time and Date
On 7 August 2021 morning when he went towards his home from market with his car four armed and masked men fired around 10 bullets at the Vicky in the Mataur market. He tried to ran to safe place from there but fell down. HE was taken to hospital but declared as a dead. Now the case is under Punjab police who started his work by checking all nearby CCTV cameras.
