After completing her fashion designing course she started work as a costume designer in south Indian movies. During starting period of her career she used to work in her father and brother Ram Charan’s film as a costume designer. After that she worked in many Tollywood and Bollywood movies such as “Rangasthala” and “Khaidi No. 150”, Chiranjeevi’s suits in “Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu” were designed by Sushmita only.
