Career
In early stages of his career he wanted to became an actor. He started to working in Tamil movies industry in 2006. In the following year he joined to famous film director Ram and worked as an assistant director in many movies such as Kattradhu Thamizh in 2007, Thanga Meenkal in 2013 and Taramani in 2017. Later in 2018, he debuted as a lead director by directing a Tamil movie “Pariyerum Perumal” which was produced by Neelam Productions which accumulated basic recognition and was one of the effective movies of the year.
in 2021, He once again came with a fantastic Tamil hit movie “Karnan” as a writer and director. In this movie south super star Dhanush played a lead role. Karnan was produced by Kalipuli Dhanu. This movie was completed and ready to publish in December 2020 but due to corona pandemic it was postponed. Finally on 9 April 2021 it was released in cinemas. This is a biggest superhit film of the year.
He also working on some other Untitled south Indian movies as a director along with a famopus actor such as Dhruv Vikram and Suriya. Along with director he is also a very good author, Singer and Lyricist.
He won many awards for his first film as a main director titled “Pariyerum Perumal”. in yer 2018 he won the awards in Behindwoods Gold Medal and 16th Chennai International Film Festival in category of Best Director and Best Tamil Feature. 2019 is became golden year for him because in that year he won 5 big awards such as Ananda Vikatan Cinema Awards for Best Story and Best Director, Film Critics Circle of India which was Award for Best Debut Film. Toulouse Indian Film Festival in category of Audience Award, Independent Critic Award and Jury Award. He also won the Galatta Debutant Awards for Best Debutant Director and Best Debutant Dialogue Writer.
