According to many media sources Lathika started her career as a journalist and at the same time she was also worked on many projects. Along with this she also worked as philanthropist. As a social worker she did so many good works for the people who actually need it. She also worked for women’s safety. She join in many Charitable organization/ trust for serving society.
Lathika Subhash has a much interest in politics since her early childhood. And to fill her wish to become politician she joined Indian National Congress after completing her higher studies. And as a social worker and politician she did many good work for peoples specially for women’s safety and so she gained so much popularity across the country. In 2018, She became head of Mahila congress (Congres’s Womens unit) from Bindhu Krishna. As a leader she always looking for the work for women’s safety. For that she organized too many rellies, various programs and campaigns. She also appeared in congress’s many important meetings.
She got disappointment after knowing that her name was not listed as a congress candidate for upcoming election in kerala. So he choose to leave congress party and so he resigned from her long time post on March 14, 2021. to show her disappointment she shaved her head in the front of Congress party office in Thiruvananthapuram.
