In 2015 after she gains confidence she attempted UPSC CSE from Gujarat cadre. She managed to crack the UPSC after putting in a lot of effort in just one attempt. She cleared the exams with 16th AIR and also is state topper. Currently she is working as Commissioner of Cuttack Municipal Corporation.

After the marriage he also get transferred to Odisha. Muhammed Abdaal Akhtar worked as assistant secretary in the Commerce Department during July-September 2017 and now since 2018 he is serving as a project director in the rural development state agency agency based in Koraput. Akhtar also worked as a Lawyer before becominh IAS. As of many reports till now the couple don’t have any childrens.
