Her acting debut was in the 2009 Kannada film “Parichaya”, in which she played a cameo role. After that in 2011 she he played role of Nandini in the film titled “Lifeu Ishtene” which was directed by Pawan Kumar. After that she worked in many Tamil and Telugu movies as a supporting role as well as lead role in “Allam Vellulli” in 2009, “Vaada Poda Nanbargal” in 2011 and “Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal”. Her role as Chandrika, a mute girl, became a love interest to Sathish Ninasam’s character in the 2012 comedy film “Drama” directed by Yogaraj Bhat. In addition to Sindhu receiving accolades for her performance, the ensemble cast of the film was regarded as a success. In her career she got nominate for her excellency in acting in SIIMA Award as a Best Actress in a Supporting Role and in Kannada Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Role. Also that year, she played a supporting role in “Yaare Koogadali”.
