In 2010, Vikas Kumar made his television debut in the TV crime series “Powder” starring Umesh Jagdale. In 2011, he was seen to playing the role of Senior Inspector Damodar Deshmukh in the crime series “Khotey Sikkey”. Story of the show runs around an unlikely group of five privileged young people and policeman. In 2012 and 2013, he starred as Senior Inspector Rajat in the Sony TV police procedural series “C.I.D”. Actor Vikas Chakraborty portrayed Ratan Das in 2012’s “Handover”. In 2015, he starred as Prithipal Singh in the movie Prithipal Singh “…A Story”. He starred as Dastur in the film “Ajji” in 2017. This film was positioned as a dark version of the classic fairy tale. A drama film entitled “Hamid” was his next role and he played Abhay. During 2018, he played the role of Major Prem in the film “Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran”. During the 2019 he was appeared as a host in season of “Court Room – Sachchai Hazir Ho”.
